who is the best batsmen after sunil gavaskar!!!

hi cameo22 , there is no matter for further thinking sachin tendulkar ofcource no way behind him in todays cricket.every great player appretiate him for his approach to face his innings and he is also an opener from last many years.

i think soura ganguly and sachin tendulkar..............both r very good players.....

i think matthew hayden is wonderful player overall in international arena... in india i prefer dravid in test matches and sachin in one days....

Hello,Cameo! Gavskar was no doubt a great cricketer.he was a good opener of the innings.but his popularity was limited to only test cricket.In those days the limited over matches had just developed and he could not fit in to it properly and retired.However Sachin is quite good an opener in test match as well as the ODI.He was at his height,but gradually he is losing his concentration and getting injuries frequently and I don't think he will recover.Next to Sachin, the best openers are Sehwag and Gambhir who are doing excellent in both test match and ODI.thanx.

after sunil gavaskar only one name comes to my mind and he is SACHIN TENDULKAR i think he is the most valuable talented player india has ever produced

Best opener for India is Sachin and the next person we can say is Sehwag. Gavaskar does not even come in the top 10 list of mine
