What kind of pet person are you?

I'm a cat person. I know some people think of cats as aloof, independent, and finicky, but they can also be very loving, affectionate pets. I believe if you give your pet, whatever he or she may be, love and attention, that pet will respond in kind. I know mine have.

I love all sorts of animals, but I especially love cats and rats! My family has seven cats, yes, seven, and most of them are very sweet, loving animals. I used to breed rats, and they were some of the smartest, sweetest animals you could own. My rats would give you little licky-kisses, and also they would play fetch and tag, as well as do little tricks too! People underestimate the rate, but they are just as smart as cats and dogs if you can believe it, they just have a bad history with the black plague which was the fault of the fleas, people are now grossed out or scared of them, when in reality if you have pet rats they clean themselves as often as cats and they also use the little box if you put one in their cage! I love rats, and someday I plan on having one or two more, they are great in pairs because they get sad if they are alone and you don't give them much time, we'll just see though how busy I am in my future because rats are more dependent on you than lets say cats. i am a doggie and a fish person. i have two dogs and a fish. i am not into cats, well, maybe it's because i have not really tried taking care of one. i find dogs playful and really loving! well, with fishes, i love them because they really look lovely in the aquarium, with all it's beautiful colors! they are just great pets. they are easy and fun to take care with. umm.. i just hate cleaning the aquarium part!LOL

I consider myself an "animal" person. I just love all animals. I know what you mean about cats. We have 3 and one is very loving and loves to hold and be held and is sweet. The middle one is loving when she wants to be, but feisty and sneaky and VERY curious! Our youngest is the largest and he doesn't like to be loved at all.. he will put up with it and sometimes come ask for it for just a few minutes, but otherwise he is a loner and loves to run and play around the house and with toys. I don't consider any of them "cold" but I see the calculating every day :-) Cats are just so much more independent! They just don't HAVE to have people around and dogs tend to be the opposite and NEED people, and that constant love and affection!!

I am a dog,(big dog preferred as well) and cat and over all anything fuzzy person...lol I have a house full of dogs(4 of mine 3 of my roommates) and cats (8 adults, 7 kittens ).. I at one time used to have over 50 hamsters I have had fish and bred livebearers for my own pleasure very exciting to watch little fish born. I love most everything-- excepts MOST insects- MOST reptiles and Rodents with tails -still bother me a bit.. lol Just had a litter of kittens born today.(i guess that adds a few more kittens to my list) and they almost look like them..little rodents- but boy are they loud..AND cute!

I like most animals, actually. Snakes too! Horses and cats have a particular hold on my heart though. And I'd like a pet tarantula one day, heh.

Dear friend, I too like dogs and more we have dog pets too. It is very much friends to us and moreover they easy to handle too. I do like other pets like squirrel, parrot, horse, rabbits etc may mostly those pets which do not do any much harm or do not go much wild. My sister and mum like cats most.

i like most animals...i like mostly furry ones. just snakes give me the creeps. they r creepy and they creep creepy... both dogs and cats are sweet and loving with me..all my dogs and cats loved me. they were my children...i also like rabbits, birds, fish, horses, cows, goats, sheep, etc...

i am a dog person too..nothing against cats or horse persons...i just like dogs...

I'm definitely an animal lover. I love all animals, but, I have and will always have a special place in my heart for cats! Cats are so purrrrfect! I got Mija (mee-hah) at the Humane Society when she was 7 months old. What I did when I brought her home was hold her a lot and cuddle with her a lot. As a result I have created a monster! LOL! She is extremely affectionate and always wants to cuddle with me. She follows me wherever I go, sleeps with me a lot at night and is always meowing to me for attention. She is very friendly with visitors and my friends always remark on how friendly Mija is. I wouldn't have it any other way. I would say that about 10% of the time she acts like your average aloof cat, but, the other 90% of the time she loves attention and gives affection. She will be 5 years old on December 9th and you better believe she has a birthday party every year! I have found out that, even though it's in a cat's nature to be aloof and distant, if you give a cat more affection than usual at a young age they grow up used to all the attention and affection and pretty much grow up to be more affectionate than the average cat. At the same time, if you take a dog and raise it with very little attention and affection the dog may be just as aloof as a cat. It depends a lot on the animals personality too. im pretty much a dog person i love dogs i like the dog itself and i like walking dogs very fun . even tho i dnt have a dog. cuz my mom has a bird and well dogs might eat birds. and i love horses. brushing feeding and riding very fun. def in ded. but i like snakes i like most animals not relaly a cat person. and i like bigger dogs but i wud take a smalldog

I love all the animals u mentioned above but most of all i love dogs and especially puppies. They are so cute and adorable. So i would be a "dog" person. Talking about loyalty yes indeed dogs are very loyal to their masters unlike cats. If i'm really freaked out or pissed off and i see a small pup it automatically brings a smile on my face. They say if you have a pet dog you live longer as u have lesser tensions and worries. There is only one strange case i have seen. My friends pet dog kinda bites him at times lolzzz...

I don't know what animal I am, I guess i need to think about it. As per Chinese astrology I am a Dragon. By nature I am a restless, sincere, a bit reserved, yet confident and a fighter but i don't know what animal that would make me.
