Is there anyone here in the path of Fay? I am in Louisiana and am expected to get some rain, but nothing else. Today we had a few high winds, felt good with 90+ degrees. lol Praying she speeds up and spares lives and leaves on the electricity! Katrina took all the food, don't want the same to happen with Fay!

Hi littleowl, Not a tornado and not a hurricane, we just got some rain and high winds from Tropical Storm Fay. We are fine, electricity still on and no damage. No flooding at all. Nice cool breezy day today.

My thoughts are with you S. PearlGrace, friend here at myLot, has been through Fay this past week. We have a friend that we are trying to touch base with. I'm sure he is okay. I even saw the town I lived in when I was a kid, St. Simons Island/Brunswick, GA was taking a beating.

Thanks Kimbers. Yea it seems that she is big, but not as dangerous right now. Hopefully she stays declining in strength. They say if she jogs into the gulf, she can strengthen into a hurricane, so as much as I hate to say it, I hope she stays along the coast! She is packing a punch, but I think it would be worse if it slid into the gulf. Hope your friends are ok.

I have already been through it. Thank us for letting it beat us down for 4 days before it moved on towards your way. It is nothing to worry about too much. Unless, you are in an area that is proned to flooding. We have a neighborhood around the corner that has nearly 3 feet of water standing in it. However, I did not personally suffer any damage. I think it is moving much faster than it was when it was here fortunately for you.

Sorry she beat you up for 4 days before moving on, that was a surprise to everyone! I thought she would go thru and go out in the Atlantic and move on, not stall and turn around! lol T/S don't usually do that too often. Glad you didn't get any damage.
