I think I got checked by a mylot member. That really upsets me.

I knew it was too good to be true but I thought I was being too suspicious so I signed up for an account with wwww.prize4planet.com. The site looks clean and legitimate. The moment I logged in, I picked a prize that I wanted to win which is 100 cash to my paypal account. To win that money, I had to earn 6000 points and I was automatically given 10 points for signing in. Well not bad right? 5990 to go. I saw there was a game category and thought it was cool to be able to make 100 dollars by just playing games and I'm pretty good at tetrix and some simple games. So I started with playing tennis with the computer. Man, the computer was so perfect. Soon, I realized that there was no way I could beat it, so I changed to another game...black jack. I couldn't believe how great the dealer was. I didn't even win a penny! (Well I only played 4 games) Then I moved on to playing some silly little game about a strawberry on a mission to save its friends. It was really tough to go through a bunch of deadly obstacles which required perfect timing and all. FInally, I tried to complete offers, thinking that nothing could be easier than keying some information into forms. Looking at tons of offers, I had no idea how to start because there was no instructions. At the bottom of each banner, it say "points : 5%" or some percentage. Then it hit me. It wanted me to purchase the product to be given a small percentage of what I pay. Hell no! I was there to make money, not to buy stuff.
So, I think I was cheated by a mylot fellow member who was promoting this site yesterday saying he made 100 bucks at the site. Guess what, you get 40 points for referring a new member. I guess that's how he made his 100 bucks!
I just wanted to warn others about this site. If you are a member and has made 100 bucks, please tell me your secret. I even checked out its 'forum' and saw a bunch of questions by lost members like me and they had no answers whatsoever. I really would like to know how come I didn't earn a point after half an hour at the site. Well, I did gain 10 points for signing in. (FYI, you get 10 points per sign in per day -you can make the 100 bucks if you sign in every day for the next 600 days - around 2 years- if the company is still around and really pays) I'm really upset. Why would someone want to lure innocent people into something that doesnt work just for 40 points! I'm really upset.

If something sounds too good to be true, it usually is. Although I did not see this post, I have many similar ones on here. I'm sorry this happened to you. Maybe the poster him/herself fell for it and may he/she filled out the forms without knowing that they will be charged for something. It amazes me how willingly people give away their information if there is money to be earned. Anyhow, count your blessings that you did not waste too much time on this.
And if it really was to lure referral sign-ups. Although it's only 40 points per sign-up. It's a small post to make. Mylot has 140k+ members. If one percent reads the post (that's 1,400 people if my math serves me right) and one percent of those sign up, you have 14 people. Times 40, that person gained 560 points. Of course it works for that person, lol.
Live and learn!

I know. It was right for me to be suspicous. Especially when I asked him how he made that 100 dollars, he didn't reply me in the discussion. Instead, he sent me a private message telling me what to do to earn, not how he did it! I knew he was hiding something. When I asked again, he didn't reply me. Perhaps he had gone offline. So, I thought what the heck. just give it a try and I'll find out. It's better to check it out than to miss a real opportunity. I've learned the lesson and I don't plan to reveal his identity (maybe I should). The next time I see his post promoting this site again, I'll definitely ask him how and see what he has to say.

Thanks for bringing this up. i saw that site also and bookmarked it thinking I'd investigate it later, but I think I wont waste my time now. People that are really new on my lot when you dont know abnything about them are difficult to see whether they are on the level or not. I'm sure most of them are, but I prefer to take money advice from people who have been around awhile.

There are many dishonest people here that goes all the way out to get downline. Luckily , I am not one of them as I have a reputation to keep. Even though I also hope to get referrals, I won't resort to something like this. I don't want my referrals to pay money to make money in any site that I introduced because I think it is very risky to do so. Even though it might benefit a lot, I feel very bad if they never get their investment back. This world isn't about money alone, we also have our integrity to put to practice. Try to pm your upline to ask him more about the program. If possible, ask him whether he got paid by the site.If he answer yes, then ask for payment proof.

Well, most of the time when someone posts a link in here, I never pay attention to it. Since it is actually against the myLot posting rules to include Referral links like this, I usually never pay any attention to these type of links at all. And like someone else said, how they earn their points is by referring others even if no one can ever Earn there. And how do they know it is not a SCAM as well without proof of some kind of payment.
Next time, I would skip over these type of posts and stick with someone who has posted a Blog or good referral link to a Business or two in their profiles. Just my thoughts.

I am sorry to heard that you fell for what seems to be a scam or at least not a very good website. However there are people that just want to lure you in to websites all over the internet, so in reality why should mylot be any different? A lot of people here are interested in making money, so it is a playground for scammers.

You are not the only member to be cheated by fellow member. On some information I also joined a site Poststoriches where one has to initiate a discussion in various interests and then to comment on on going discussions and matters. What was the criteria. They add to your account 2 cents per post. I started after posting about 150 I earned 3 in my account. The site did not strike me at all. There is fine of 2 dollar for one strike means If you have abused rule you will get strike. While I was on line and looking for some thing else when I again back to that site where my earning disappeared. I tried a lot but could not find. On my next logon I find that my ID was shown as suspended. Since then I have opened this site. At least it is not good at my lot members just to get 25% equal earning of the person they refer to that site. Any way If had abused rule I do not blame the referrer but it is also wrong that innocent persons accumulates by adding 2 cents per post and on one error every thing is taken away. Beware of such site. I am not hurt by this but I caution all others.
Take care and be happy at my lot until u get some legitimate work on line of some reputed Company sponsored by reputed website.

I have not heard of the site, but i did see the title to this discussion claiming you could make that money...i passed it over because the title alone seemed to suspicious. Unfortuantely site after site are out there just looking to lure us in, but its up to us to research and check it out, and though we want to trust our fellow mylotters, sometimes we even have to watch out with what we read on here, sad to say.

Well said. I see that new mylotters who keep claiming how much they have earned are most likely to be scammers. I just hate people taking advantage of honest members here. We're here to help each other by exchanging useful information, not trying to cheat!

Well, if it only cost you a bit of your time and not a lot of $$$ I guess you could chalk it up to a lesson learned and remember it the next time somebody makes a big claim like that. Just be happy it didn't cost you to sign up. I would count as one of the "lesser" of the scams out there, compared to many that cheat you not only of precious time but also hard earned money -(not to belittle your experience or anything). Thank you for the warning the value of your lesson will help many.

Hey everyone,
DO NOT bother with Prize4Planet. It is a MAJOR scam!
But how do I know you might say? Well...I have got over 7,000 points and there is NO CASHOUT/REDEEM prize button ANYWHERE. I was aiming for the $100 PayPal. So even if you have the required amount of points, you can't redeem your prize. SCAM!
Secondly, I have referred about 6 people and NOT ONE of them show up as my referral. What a SCAM!!! Please, don't bother using the site, it is a MAJOR scam.
Also read this:
"Q. How do I know you’re legit?
A. Simply look at our proof and testimonials! We have sent out over $50,000 worth of cash and merchandise to thousands of users."
And if you look at their PROOF, they only have about 6 of them. I even doubt that those payment proof on their site is legit. I seriously had about 5 sleepless nights in 3 weeks, just so I could earn that $100 PayPal, playing games ALL night :D all...for NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!

That is pretty much been my experience with most of those similar sites. But I have found a couple that really are able to deliver as promised. If interested I will give you my referral link. Nothing out of pocket. One can be completed in 30-45 minutes for you to be able to put $80 per referral in your pocket. If you complete this program through my referral link I will put $50 dollars in you pay Pal account myself. Let me know if you are interested.
