I would not go that far to say it should be required. It would not bother me however if it was a law as it would be a good thing for the earth. The good thing about recycling for me is we have much more room in our trash so it does not get overloaded anymore. Did know companies use some oil to make plastic soda bottles. I saw on the news in a certain area where its already is a law.

I think logically looking at what has happened over the years that we need to get back to a culture of re-use.
I don't think recycling is the best answer.
It creates it's own pollutants and generates great heats during the processes.
Breweries moved away from returnable bottles years a go.
Surely sterilising a container and reusing is better for the environment that breaking it down for the sake of it. Cleaning/ sterilising then heating it up again and reforming it in to something that has been made to be recycled again?
I would like to see us move away from unnecessary packaging in the first instant.
Compostable packing where applicable.
But most of all returnable/ re-usable packaging would make my day.

It was only 10-12 years a go that they stopped most of the returnable bottles via breweries.
Small Britvic fruit juice bottles and various ales are still returned, sterilised and refilled. There are no health risks with todays technology.
It's kind of like saying they never use the same scalpel to operate.
Surgical instruments are re-used until they need replacing.
Babies bottles are sterilised and re-used. Babies have little immunity compared to an adult.
I certainly do not believe in recycling for the sake of it.

Yes it should be a law to recycle and there should also be a law that when something new is made that there should be as little packing on it as possible.
Last year everyone was talking about recycling etc and a coffee firm then brought out liquid coffee in little plastic cup things! What a waste on our environment
