I'm not big on brand names, but I think Owens Corningware and T-Fal are big names here. T-fal makes pots and pans mostly and they're fantastic. Also, Pyrex is still a big name here for a lot of glass cooking items. And, Rival is a common brand for slow-cookers.

thanks for your information.i searched 'Owens Corningware' but can't find their company website? could you offer the link for me? since you are from USA,havn't you heard of Tabletops before?

I haven't heard of Tabletop. Owens Corning is more the name of the material they make, but Corningware is the name of the cookware using their license. Here is a link: http://www.corningware.com/

I use iron skillets a lot, all different sizes. I do not have a special name brand I use. Some of them are antiques.

Hello dear sophialin. I am sorry to say that I do not pay much attention to the brand of the cookware brand. But we really pay attention to the quality as we would like to have good-quality ones that will last. Thank you for your discussion. Good luck to you in your business.

I tend to use a saucepan, saute pan, a frying pan, and occasionally, a stockpot to cook with. I have my George Foreman countertop grill when I want to grill meats or vegetables. In terms of name brands of cookware, I know that Emeril LeGasse's cookware--Emerilware, is getting pretty popular. Another popular type, Calphalon, is very good cookware, but expensive. Even Rachel Ray has her own brand of cookware out now. Out of all of these brands, I'm not sure which is the most popular.

I use a 28cm Tefal Practica with lid for cooking, a tefal 18/10 stainless steel saucepot for soup and other liquid cooking, also have a tefal non-stick saucepot, I have a tupperchef steamer which I hardly use (regret buying this one...should have waited and buy iCook steamer a better quality one), and I have a hand me down 24cm AMC pot. This is all I have for my cookware. The most used is the tefal practica and the tefal stainless steel pot. I love it. Ummmm the ones in my country...it depends but zebra brand cookware from Thailand is reputed. Actually plenty of brands available --up to personal preference
