I love reading alot too as my wooden cabinet is full of books and novels. When I was in school, college and university, I used to study in night and on my bed. Main reason, there was so silence that I can concentrate and the best comfort in the world is in your own home and in your own room. I have read many books while in bed.

Yeah.. In fact, I LOVE reading in bed?
Why? Because sleep time i the only time of the day when I have complete silence.. Yeah, I can only get concentration to read in complete silence and, then, sleeping time is the perfect time to do so. ^^

From time to time I do like to read in bed, but I found it harder to sleep when I read in bed. I like to lay on the swing outside on our porch to read or on the steps leading to our front door. I always look for something comfortable to sit to read and get involved in a good book.

I also have found that if I read a book while in bed it would be harder for me to get sleep that night. I think it's like my mind is thinking it would rather read in bed than sleep in it. One way I combat that is I lay on my stomach towards the foot of the bed. It's not the same way I sleep so it doesn't feel the same when I go to bed.

I am not a reader all that much but i must admit there is something about going to bed and reading but my doctor in an effort to cure my insomnia has told me TV and reading is a big No No as I have to trick my mind into knowing bed is to sleep...happy reading to you...

I love to read in bed! Ofcourse that is about the only time I get to read. I usually read a few pages each night before I go to bed. When I was younger and on summer vacation from school I would read all summer. I would take a blanket and a few books and just lay under a big tree in the shade and read.

I really like reading in bed. If I have a good book and I read in bed, I'm sure to have a good night's sleep that night! Sometimes I get into ruts where I can't get into reading a book and I try to go straight to bed without reading and I have the hardest time falling asleep! It's very relaxing. And at times, I actually look forward to it, as I get to escape into another world for awhile before slumber.

I read almost every night before I fall asleep. Some nights I fall asleep with the book still open!

I do. I think it's a leftover behavior from childhood because I could never sleep unless my parents read me a story. I don't like reading actual books in bed, I prefer my books on CD. Again I think it's accessing the memory of childhood bedtimes. If I can't sleep I always pull out my CD player and listen. Usually I am sleepy within 15 minutes or so. The only problem is if the book is too exciting then I won't go to sleep for hours. I think, however, it's mostly a good cure for insomnia, which I suffer from.

I used to love reading in bed, in fact i would often go to bed early in order to read. But that was before I met and married my hubby, as soon as that happened and then the kids started to arrive, reading in bed just sort of went out of the window!

Many people like to read themselves to sleep, but it is more likely to keep me awake. Besides, my husband goes to bed before I do. The light would more than likely keep him awake.

i m definitely enjoy reading on bed...though i didn't practise this for quite some time due to tire of working, but i do enjoy reading on bed, it's so comfy & when u r tire in the middle of some page, just turn and hav a sleep, and have a nice dream after a good story ^_^

I like reading in bed bu the only time that I will do this will be in the evening time just before I go to sleep. My reading material has to be something relaxing like a novel that isn't scary or a travel book about a destination that I wish I could go to. My bed head is black metal and brass so I have to lay my two pillows against it to make it comfortable.

I love to read in bed right before I go to sleep. It helps me unwind from the day and sleep easier. If I don't it is harder to fall asleep.

I read in bed all the time :) Its usually quiet in the bedroom and its so comfy wrapping yourself in blankets and being able to sprawl out with your book ^_^ I think I like being able to close the door so I can get away from my pets and all distractions so I can just immense myself into the story :D
