How to develop a kid (and other persons too) to become a good human

I have seen in many homes, the parents emphasis to their kids only better learning and try to provides better food. I feel not only better learning and food can play a vital role in becoming a good human. What I feel, a kid must be a good manager, have good communication and listening skill, and should have a better EQ so that mercy should be in heart. I feel to go ahead in the way of constructive minded human, we must try to be a good religious (it does not matter which) so that peace should keep in our mind, and we could understand the developed human. A good religious person is self-motivated, peaceful minded, understands the feelings and but obvious has a good health. Is anybody agree with me?
