There are a thousand people signed up in mylot and all of us have the opportunity to share our thoughts by typing it all here in mylot.com.
Have you guys encountered almost similar articles, similar subjects, similar thoughts, there are so many minds in mylot that probably once or twice you've read something that made you think... "Hey De Jevu! I think I read this one before..."
Although there may be difference in choice of words, grammar or approach, we do know when something almost/actually means the same as the other thing.
Have you had this same thought?
Have you experienced reading something that you know you read one time in mylot?
Please comment on this.

I also noticed that, but there are also some accidental cases, sometimes both of the writers have the same thought in different time and the later one doesn't know there's already a same one or a similar one exists, so he just posts out what he want to say, then should we still flame him? I think we should search before posting a new topic to prevent this from happening again

Yes that is true, but then, most people in mylot actually post first, and they only see related topics when and if they encode their tags.

Yes, I saw too many of them, one of them was last friday. I found arround 5 to 10 discussions on 'Whats your plan on this weekend'. Similarly queries about MyLot earnings, most of them are similar. I think this is because people are not effectively using the Tags also they are not utilizing this search ficilty properly. Use of Tags will show similar discussions also will help MyLot to show discussion in more apropreate manner.

yes I agree, I think that's how my lot filters the topics being posted here. But I guess since some people with the same post have different tags mylot or the mylotter is not able to monitor this.

yes, the same ole things over and over and over. It is so hard not to respond to discssions, but the subjects are the same. they are same and most of the time one liners, which require little or no thought. I will not answer a discussion that only requires a yes or no from me. Too bad there is not a filter that can immediately archive these duplicate subject discussions.

I agree a filter is a good idea, but I guess that will make it even difficult to start discussions...
anyways, about those one liner entries, sometimes it is kind of irritating to see them. especially if youre in the mood to share and start babbling out everything you want to point out, but I guess they are also clueless of what to say... We can never be to sure...

Hi there chicha0522
Yes I have seen many discussion that are very simular or sometimes with the same title. I have done this myself but only once! One day I started a discussion and about 2 days later my friend started exactly the same discussion with a slight change of words. I don't know how this happend but it did! With so many people on mylot I'm surprised it doesn't happen more often than it does!!

that's a good thing then...
we should thing differently, but ofcourse sometimes think alike, we wouldn't get along if we weren't different and the same in one time...

Well at the moment its just my second day on the site. So all the threads i have read this far have all been different for me. But yes your point would be valid for sure.
With so may members posting there would be many topics almost the same. But this is bound to happen. Anyways i wouldn't bother much either because so long as people are contributing to the site its really great.
If you see something same then i guess the best thing you could do is just ignore that particular topic and hmove ahead reading the others. Hehehe...

I think the answer is in your first line, there are thousands of new members joining all the time and they will never have seen those topics discussed.
I have been a member for six months and it is surprising how many times the same questions or topics come up in discussions. It's not usually done intentionally, the user has just not searched for similar discussions, or has not found any when are posting in that interest.
I can't respond if it is exactly the same as a discussion I have already taken part in, but often there is a slight variation in the way it is written, and if I can give a slightly different response to it, I will do.

Hi there!
In my 3 hours or mylotting, yeah I've seen a lot of the same discussions. Even the same titles. There is even one that I posted 2 months ago and I've seen it again now. I've even answered on some of them again but not to the post similar to mine. I know I shouldn't but I am in a hurry to reach payout so I'm typing and responding like crazy.
We can't really pevent it from happening. People here want to participate and mostly earn and it does really happen sometimes that others may think of the same topics as we do. It's just that sometimes we tend to get careless and post and post and not search for any similar discussions.
The other night I was suppose to make a post but internet glitches happened and I wasn't able to submit the post. Then when everything went back to normal I suddenly see the a topic similar to mine was just posted seconds ago. Its now on mylots top. I didn't posted mine and I'm a bit frustrated about it but I had to let it go and continue with mylot work as if nothing frustrating happend. Sometimes I admit I happen to post a topic posted months ago but that was an honest error.
Is it written in the mylot guidelines not to post similar discussions? What I know is when one user post several discussions similar from his/her own post. But what about posts similar to other user's?

People don't like different. I have tried different discussions
and only get one or two responses from it. It is hard to come
up with the post, and be creative, then get nothing back.
People just don't like different.........;-))
