You may have heard about the concept of paying it forward
the idea of doing something meaningful to help someone else without asking for anything in return. So, if you were given $1,000 with the understanding that it had to be used to help others, how would you use the money and why?

i believe in not giving as money .. i will buy food items and donate it to old folks home or to orphanage ... money can be used for any of their personal reasons ... or misappropriated ..sometimes ..we can also buy educational materials .. take them out to eat at fancy restaurants ...
cheers

This is a rather open question. It is not easy to say what you would do to help a stranger, if you did not know what this stranger's needs are.
I would certainly like to use the money in the best way that it can help the stranger.
Maybe, I could watch TV, and hopefully there is a story about someone who is in need of a certain thing, then contact the TV station so that they can give me contact information and help that person with whatever they are in need of.
Possibly, if I saw a homeless person, I could help them out with clothing and maybe the comfort of a motel room for a week where they can clean up and get a better night's sleep.
I am sure there are endless things to do for someone, but you need to know what their needs are.
If a stranger came up to me, and offered me anything, I would hope that it would be to pay for my monthly rental bill, that would be the most helpful thing for me.

I would probably use it to help someone pay off a debt. Credit is so important these days and even being able to rent is difficult without good credit.
