My kids started this school year about 2 almost 3 weeks ago. So far my daughter is having trouble remembering her homework. My oldest is doing fine, except for the school didn't have enough textbooks for his class till the end of last week. My middle son seems to be doing fine. My youngest son seems to have forgotten everything he learned last year and the year before.
This time of year is always so frustrating both for the parents and for the kids. As everyone is trying to get back into the routine of everything and learn what the new teachers expect of you and your child.

My son started school on August 14th. So far he seems to be enjoying the school year. He has only had homework one night so far. They get most of it done in class. Right now they are mostly working on review though. I am sure the homework will pick up once they start learning new stuff.

The new school year hasn't started in my part of England as yet. The children are still enjoying the sumer holidays.
They go back to school on the 3rd of sept.
I'm sure they will very soon get back into the swing of forgetting things and not doing homework etc, and being bad at getting up in the mornnig.
