According to the proper context, how to remember the difference between these words?
I am always baffled and confused about using the appropriate word.
Like the two similarly PRONOUNCED words.. stationery and stationary.
Will someone please help to make me understand this.

Stationary means not moving or in fixed position, while Stationery is a paper with decors and used for letters. I usually pronounce them as how they're spelled. For example, Stationary, the 'A' there in between N and R, I pronounce that as the 'A' in APPLE. On the other hand, I pronounce the 'E' in Stationery as the 'E' in ENVELOPE. That's not the usual case if you have an english/american accent though, but I use it for vocabulary purposes, so I don't confuse myself with those words. I hope that helps ^^

wow, A very great way to remember. I would try to adapt my behaviour and pronounciation accordingly. Thankyou for a lively example also. Hope you are very efficient with usage of english words. Now, another stumbling block just crossed.
The difference between affect and effect.
This language is very tough .. who said english is the easiest language. lols.
Thankyou for the great answer friend.
