When you are angry what is the best way to calm yourself? How do you release your angry? Some people will scold non-stop, some will grab food to eat, some will just keep quiet and walk away. For me, I will release my anger by telling it all to a close friends and then forget about it after awhile.

it depends who i am angry with and why, if i am angry i find reciting "the naming of cats" quite calming, its a technique i learned in anger management, but if i get realy furious i tend to punch the wall

I have my own anger managment system, I also listen to quiet music of course, it calms myself down.
Well everyone has his own system but sometimes we're overwhelmed by the situation then it's the dispute !
It's all about you to find out how to manage it, speak with the person you argue with then find compromises, discuss, then "make peace" ^^
Again it depends on the people !

When I am angry, I tend to control myself in a way that I won't hurt anyone or act wild. I just stay calm and breath a couple of times to ease myself from such bad encounter. Also, I go out of the house or the building and smell the air outside. Staying silent and quiet is also good for me. I don't usually talk when I'm angry for me to calm down as soon as possible.

I release my anger by letting myself cool off. Sometimes I get so angry that I grind my teeth until my jaw hurts. I once didn't allow myself time to cool off, and ended up throwing a chair and breaking it. I know that I could have handled the situation better, but I made a wrong choice and let myself carry that decision out. I like to be responsible about it, so I try to get away from everyone until I am calm again.

Usually I am big on communication, but if I find myself angry about something then I have to just shut up! I find at these times, the more I talk the more upset that I get.
I will normally just not talk and walk away, to analyze the situation calmly in my own head. I need to actually think about what I am going to say and how it is going to affect the person and the situation. I don't want to say something out of anger that I will later regret.
After I have done this, I can normally approach the situation in a calm manner.

oh well when i am angry, i normally lose out of control...i sometimes shout out loud to release the tension, and sometimes I cry to loosen up and I just want to be alone so I won't hurt anybody especially those who have no idea that I am pissed off.
