China wins most golds,US most medals.but...?

1 one of the most sucessful olmpics,opening ceremony and all the matches,perfect. thanks for usain bolt,thanks for phlps,for all athletes.its not very important to me that my own country take the top of goldmedal list coz it'll come when conditions are ripe,we just have it coming.certainly thats not bad anyway. 2 i highly doubt that age thing too.and i completely appreciate all the suspicion from others.that came about towards olmpics itself but not one country,the same as to freedom thing. 3 whos the one in your avatar?

I'm happy China came first on the medal standings. I'm getting sick of the Americans... Anyway, Chinese are known as very hard working and determined people, in any field of activity, so I was expecting this outcome, especially since Chine was the host nation. What better moment to try and win most medals than in front of your own spectators? I don't know if China will make much progress in track and field or swimming... These sports require a certain physical structure that Asian people just don't have (nothing personal). Look at the sprint races - no Caucasian or Asian can stand a chance there! It's the African origin athletes that have the best structure to perform in this kind of competition.

Yes, I believe you will make a lot of progress in these sports! You guys have a lot of promising athletes in track and field, that just aren't quite at that level. In four years though, they should be. And the basketball team just needs more time, and I believe they will make that jump into the next elimination round, maybe even score a bronze or silver next Olympics. There is a long way to go, but China has made some big improvements this recent Olympics!
