How much you pay for your net connection?

How much do you'll pay for your Internet connection? I pay round about 16$ a month but my connection is really hopeless. I have a 256KBps connection so both my Upload and Download speed is just 26KBps. It really sucks big time. Takes hours to download a movie and literally days to download games. Also i keep getting disconnected on and off and that kinda irritates me a lot. there is no better ISP in my area that would offer me something better than this for the same price so have to stick with this connection only.
