Do You Enjoy Eating at Buffets?

I enjoy buffets mainly because I have a larger family, myself, husband, and 4 kids. It is cheaper, more variety so everyone is satisfied, and a perfect way for mom to have a night off. My favorite Buffet would be Golden Coral in the States. They have wonderful homemade yeast rolls with honey butter, YUMMY:0

Oh, absolutely - more so at International type buffets than at places like Hometown Buffet, etc, because I get to try new things without committing to an entire order I might not like. That's how I found what I like in Indian food and what my favorite Chinese dishes are. But, where everything is already something I like - I'll be more likely just to eat too much than to pick and choose.

I love buffets! You have so much choice as to what to eat, and you can mix and match as you please. There is usually something there to please everyone. It is not the most healty way to eat, but I always love going. I used to go to the buffets in Las Vegas all the time when I lived in California. I do like going to the salad bar and getting the kinds of meat and vegetables I choose. Also, I know it sounds piggy, but I love to get like 3 desserts! Oh, well you only live once! I usually leave there uncomfortable because I overdo it, but again - we only live once! So enjoy yourself! It is not for a diet that's for sure! I also like to eat at restaurants and be served by a waiter, but sometimes I am just in the mood for a buffet. Have a nice day and happy myLotting!!!

I like going to buffets since there are so many choices of foods. I only take the foods I really like since there is always so much to eat. I think that buffets are the best way to go, since so many people do like them. I like going to a chinese food buffet the most, since they have a lot of different foods and most of them are to my liking. I don't have to be served by a server to enjoy my meal. I am capable of serving myself and like I said, this way I can have just what I really like. I tip the waitress at a buffet, that brings me my drink. I won't tip as much as I do when they serve me my meal, since they don't have as much work to do for me. But I still like to tip a little so that is how I do it. i love eating in a buffet but because of all the yummy food in front of me, i tend to eat more than usual. or sometimes, i end up getting so much food that i can't finish all.

I like eating at buffets. There is so much there and you can choose what you want. They are usually pretty cheap too!

I enjoy eating at buffets. It is really nice to get to choose what you want to eat and how much you can eat. I enjoy seeing all the food and the desire to taste each one of them..although I am really not a big eater I just take a few of each servings just to taste but when I really find something I like in there I tend to get more of it. Waiter or no waiter I am ok with it as long as there is food..lol

I prefer a buffet anytime over being served by a waiter. When I go to a buffet, there is so much more to choose from plus I feel like I'm getting my money's worth.

I really enjoy eating my food at buffets as they are more fun and less time consuming. We have a variety (practically) to choose from which makes it easy to decide. Buffet have always been my favourite and I eat at my fullest in them. It is also nice to use the self-service since it is very well appreciated in most places. No matter Buffets are wonderful, but still you cannot take your Girl Friend to a buffet on a date. So I guess both are best at their places, but I prefer the Buffet system. Please comment.

Buffets are great because you can have a lot of exactly what you like. Most buffets allow multiple servings you just keep going back and get a load of the stuff you like. Waiter service just provides one serving.

I like buffet better than having waiter serving food on my plate...i liek the sense of freeedom and independency of the buffet style...

At home I'm used to eat one meal. When I go out to eat at restaurants I usually eat one course as well but there were times where we had a buffet. I end up indulging myself in all types of food. I wont be able to move :) I prefer to have one good course rather than a buffet.

i usually don't like buffets, mainly because of all the people up there touching the food i'm going to eat. but i do love one buffet at the beach. it's so yummy and they keep it very clean. there are people constantly tending the food. the only bad thing is i eat myself sick whenever we go there

The choice of selection of food items is most important. It is better to vaoid the food which is not suitable to us.

I like buffets because usually they are priced cheap and have a lot of different foods to choose from, but because of my appetite i don't normally buy them. Usually one plate of food fills me up, Buffets are for people with bigger appetites

I like both. When we do go to a buffet, we go as soon as they open. Less people and less germs. when you go after they have been open for a while, there are a ton of germs on the utensils. Stand in the bathroom for a while, how many people don't wash their hands! ICK!

Oh yes, I too love going to a buffet. It is great to be able to choose all of the foods that you want to eat, and also to be able to go back as many times as you wish. The only problem I have is I tend to eat way too much when I do go to a buffet..

I like buffets because I like to choose my side dishes and vegetables. So often in a restaurant they choose what comes with an entre. I prefer to do so myself. Plus, I love salad bars and lots of choices of veggies. We have a buffet here that my Dad likes to go to. So we try and go there once a month or so with him.

It is nice but then like you say one tends to overeat a lot in them.

I like to eat at buffets, I like to see the food before I choose it. I have found that after awhile you get to where you don't eat everything that looks good and so you return to normal eating. At least I did.
