If we can enjoy life too much. I use to be a very busy, highly, stressed out individual. I was always tense because I had so much responsibility. I worked 77 hours, 7 days a week. I am a mother of four and my husband is and was active duty military. On top of my work schedule he was gone more than not. Finally one day I had enough and just couldn't go anymore. I was so tiered, I couldn't stop relaxing, even until this day. I do everything at my own pace, I no longer work 77 hours, and I am PEACHY! I wouldn't go back to any of that ever again. I take the time to relax and enjoy my children as they finish growing into magnificent adults. If it is too much relaxing, I don't care. I am Happy:)

Wwe only have one life and I think that we should do what makes us happy. We cant do the things that are going to stress us out and make us feel tired and irrtiable. I jsut like the person I am when I am more relaxed and in the relaxation mode.

You are so right. I try to remind myself this when I feel guilty for relaxing. Sometimes it is hard to do things for yourself but in the end it benefits your entire family and friend network. Keep smiling:)

Yeah I am not one who can control the hours she works, so being a semi bum at home right now is like vacation to me and my family, LOL.

It is important to keep a focus on your life especially your personal life. Sometimes we can get caught up in too much responsibility and we can lose sight of some other important things.
We have to remember that our children really need our time. Time goes by fast and the next thing you know they will be grown.

I can't argue with what you have said. I have learned this first hand with my own children. I look at my oldest son who is 15 and can't believe we are at this point. It went by so quickly. My baby just turned 8 and my girls are now 13 and 9. The time goes by too quickly and you have to enjoy every moment with them

its good to work but its also unhealthy for you to overwork besides it seems you had more than enough a share on your plate, and if you are happy and enjoying parenting then i think you are in the right place
