I'm one of those 'children' who run up the bill. When I first got a cell phone, I didn't have any kind of texting plan but I would text a few times per month anyway and end up with a $5 bill. So, my mom added an unlimited plan for the whole family. Her, and I, both thought that it would take care of the problem (because her and my sister also began to text) but a year or so later, I went to college and met a girl from South Korea. We began dating, she went back to Korea, and that's when 'international text messaging' was introduced to our phone bill. They run me $.15, I think, to send text messages to her and I typically end the month with adding an extra $8-$10 to the phone bill.
Unlimited international texting needs to be introduced to the world..

My brother really racked up the phone bill when he was text messaging his girlfriend all the time. he had over 100 dollars in text messages! My mom of course wasn't all that happy. My family now has unlimited text messaging.

I bought them a mobile each and gave them a budget. i would recharge their mobile only once a month. Now they are careful in making calls and like to preserve their balance.
