Hello, everybody!
Back in the '90s, there was a cartoon running on Romanian television, and I know it was on other European televisions also.
I believe the cartoon is actually Japanese, but they were dubbing it all over Europe.
Does anyone remember it?What I actually want to ask you is if anyone remembers what's the name of the pet hamster Nils had... The hamster does not appear in Selma Lagerof's original book, yet he accompanies Nils in the cartoon. I have some friends that were watching the cartoon, but none of us remembers the hamster's name...

Oh, I loved that show. They don't have such good cartoons anymore. Anyhow, in Germany the hamster was called Kruemel. Losely translated I think that would be Crumb or Crumble. In the Netherlands it was Kruimel.

Thanks for your response!
If you want to see some of it again, there are some episodes on YouTube, but in French.
The names you mentioned don't ring a bell... Maybe they translated it in Romanian by something similar to the meaning of Crumb... Thank you for the info, anyway!
