i have heard it on television and from people that i know...they will tell you to look out for strange men and all of that stuff because it could be dangerous, but honestly i think as a guy that its wrong to just say that men are dangerous, because i know that some women have killed people before and that women can be just as dangerous as men can be, i don't understand why people think that whenever they think about killers they think about guys first, does anyone know why this is or do you have any ideas why this is? thank you for taking the time out of your day to come and read my discussion and i hope that you all will have an answer and i also hope that you all have a great evening, night and the rest of your weekend is great! thanks!

A simple reply is to direct you to violent crime statistics where you will find the majority of perpetrators to be men. While you may be a good guy, how do I as a woman know this from a first impression? We have to keep ourselves safe and maybe overcompensate to do this. I refer to the old cliche that it is better to be safe than sorry. Yes, women do commit violent crimes, that I won't deny, but the incidents are far less than those men commit. It is a matter of safety over preference.
