Or would you like wearing clothes of your own choice when going to work or school?
I personally prefer wearing a uniform when going to school or work because that way I don't have to choose what to wear everyday. Another reason is I don't have a lot of clothes to wear. So I would be wearing my clothes over and over, week after week (just like uniforms, )
Do you have a lot of clothes to wear? Do you like the process of choosing what to wear? Do you like wearing a uniform?

zykirababy, I also think wearing a uniform really helps because
I don't have to worry what clothes to wear.
vbleble, I think it would be good to implement uniforms in schools.
khatri_50, you are right. students really don't have to worry
about their clothes. What they have to worry about is their
studies. but I guess the clothes people wear somehow shows their
personality.
Have a nice day to all of you!

To wear uniform is avery good idea because it is symbol of equlity. uniform
mean all are equal person having equal dress. in school the little child who
are gaining education belonging to different caste and creed havingone aim.
little child have no knowledge about the drees that why they are told to wear
uniform they should not worry about the clothes but only worry abouteducation
only. wear uniformis agood idea.because in thesedays of fashionit difficult
chose varities of dress.in the absence of verity man feels degrded.the uniform
slove the problem.man feels free and keep his sprit up .it also save the money.
in the school there should complusory uniform.

Oddly enough, I really prefer wearing a uniform than having to wear different sets of clothes one after another, be it going to school or perhaps going to work. My arsenal of clothes aren't really that many and thinking about a pile of laundry doesn't seem to be a good idea at all.
Then again, I would always think that with uniforms, others can easily associate me to what I do or what my position is in society like, as you have mentioned, a student or an employee. So even with uniforms, we can still wear it differently or alter it a bit to still express uniqueness and our individuality. (^_^ )

I like your idea that even with uniforms, we can still express our
individuality. I guess that is by the way of adding accessories
and other things like having our own fit and cut of the uniform.
So we really don't have to worry about our identity when wearing
uniforms.
Have a nice day!

I don't particularly like wearing one, no. But I do think that they are very important for schools. Having a uniform rather than allowing kids to dress in whatever they like oputs all students on an equal footing to some point. Kids can be really, really harsh as we all know and without a uniform the "rich" kids and the "poor" kids would be fairly obvious becasue all the kids with more money wiuyld be wearing all the latest gear and the ones without the money would not be. At least if they all have to dress the same situations like this are reduced. I am pretty boring when it comes to dressinf for work. I have a few suits and a few shirts and pants etc and I pretty much just rotate them! lol.

that is a good reason on why school should impose uniforms.
Students should not really judge people based on what they wear
but it is usually the case because they are teenagers and they
want to express some kind of identity or personality.

ALthough I don't really like to wear a uniform, I feel that sometimes it would be a good choice. Well other than for the obvious reasons - to protect clothes, to identify a specific company, etc.
SOmetimes it takes away the burden of having to think what to wear, sometimes just brings a sense of equality specially in certain places, and sometimes it's just cute:)
I used to like to choose what to wear each day, lately it's more "ok what can I use that doesn't take long to put together? "LOL

Never!
I hate uniform.
There is simply a humiliation to force everyone to wear uniform.
Escepially when they are ugly and uncomfortable.

I am fortunate that our uniform is not ugly and uncomfortable.
So it doesn't really bother me to wear our uniform. I don't really
see it as a humiliation. I am not forced with it and I think
it is better for me to wear a uniform because in that way I don't
have to choose what clothes to wear.
have a nice day!

I know that uniforms can have a plus side to them- usually they are provided by your work or school and you don't have to dirty your own clothes.
But i personally don't like wearing uniforms. I am the type of person who likes to be different, therefore i don't like people running around in the same clothes as me.

I really do not like wearing a uniform... because base on experience... a uniform is always uncomfortable... it is not design to give comfort to the wearer... but designed to project a certain image for the company... so i prefer to just wear my own clothes... i can always mix and match when i run out of something new to wear...

that would be a valid reason why you would prefer your own clothes
rather than uniforms.
In my case, I am comfortable with uniforms. We are allowed to have
it made to own perfect fit. And wearing it doesn't really bother me.
Have a nice day!

At my job we are required to wear uniforms they are called scrubs I have many sets but can mix and match them so it dont feel like I am wearing the same thing all the time. I have three closets full of clothes but I have my favorites and tend to wear them mostly. Yes I like wearing the scrubs to work because sometime they get ruin and that way my clothes dont. You have a great night.

When I was in school thankfully we did not have to wear uniforms because I would have hated wearing uniforms to school, because it takes away from people being able to express themselves in my opinion, when I worked at Arby's I had to wear a uniform but it did not bother me too much since they gave me crappy hours and I was barely ever at work,I do not have a whole lot of clothes, but I am happy with what I have, and I like choosing what I wear, instead of being told what to wear.

For me, being told what to wear makes it easier. This is because
I don't like choosing what to wear so much and I don't really
have much to choose from. there are still times when I can wear
my own clothes (on weekends) and I don't worry much about not
expressing my own identity.
have a nice day!

We don't have a uniform in our school. I have to worry everyday on what to wear. I don't have loads of clothes and that is much to worry about. Good thing that poverty is not an issue in our school. Almost all the students wear org shirts and our school trademark is slippers paired with jeans and shirt. But how I wish we have a uniform because we look like out of school youths..hehe.. If we have a uniform I don't have to worry much. I really don't understand why some students does not want to have school uniforms.
God Bless.

I had to wear uniforms when i was in highschool. It was the first public school in my area to get uniforms. They were bad a first but i guess it was ok because you don't have to think about what to wear when you get up in the morning. But it also got rid of the uniqueness of others and made everybody the same and solider like. No colours no excentric dressings. It got tired and boring after a few weeks.

Uniforms can be boring sometimes but for me uniforms are helpful
because with them, I don't really have to take time choosing what
clothes to wear. And it is an excuse for wearing the same thing
over and over.
We have a different uniform for every day of the week so our
uniform in our work is not that really boring.
Have a nice day!

I guess that is why a lot of people don't like wearing uniforms.
They don't like being told what to do. People like you likes to
have your own identity and really like to take control of yourselves.
I think people like you have a strong personality.
have a nice day!

Absolutely yes! I love wearing uniform when going to work. Because wearing uniform makes you look good and more professional even if your work is just a janitor. Wearing a uniform makes you respectful by others. Because when your not wearing uniform in going into your respective works, people seems looking you just a simple kind of person and thinking that you don't have a wok or you doesn't go to school. And speaking of uniforms, our new uniforms in our office are approved by our big bosses and hopefully by next month we can wear them and it makes me feel excited on it.

Same as you. I dont have that much clothes. So I will wear the same clothes over and over again. I like uniforms too, because I dont have to think of what to wear and I will not think about it, like does it look good or something. ALso because of uniforms, I simply do not have any other choice, so I like it.

I love wearing my own clothes when I go to work. I can wear anything I want, I can express my own style. I feel so tired wearing uniform, wearing the same thing every single day.
But after working for a couple of years, I wish that my company will provide a unform, because I don't have anything to wear anymore lol .
