Yes it is time for football season yet again.!!..before we moved to florida 5 years ago,I really didn't get into football. But here in Gainesville there is such Gator spirit that it's addicting. After the first football season down here,I caught the fever and man, my husband and kids loved it!! I even have my 3 year old granddaughter saying "gator chomp" and "go gators" we have had her saying it since she was 2 y.o.lol Any one out there a gator fan or a converted football fan? Is it a family thing at your house?

Actually I thought it was rather boring .Our Gators stomped all over those Hawaiin butts,and they couldn't even score once??Hey are guys are great and the first game being a stomping like that is great for their egos,I hope they remember that,that was the first time they plade each other. But I hope our Gators have a winning season!!!I can't wait for the next game. Just a few more days!!GGOOOOO GGGAATTOORRRSS RRRRAAAAA!!!!

A friend of mine converted me to a Gator fan. Professional football, a totally different thing, I am a NY Giants fan. I love both teams. My granddaughters say Go Giants all the time and have since they were 2 also. I'm the only football fan in my family however. No one else even likes it.

I'm glad to hear from another gator fan!!! I myself only watch the gators,but the rest of the family want the week to rush by for Sunday Night Football!! That's so neat that your granddaughters are gator fans!! I hope the Gators have a good season this year and good luck to your NY Giants!!
