I have noticed that some people wear flip flops everywhere, all summer long. Do you?

I tend to wear flip flops to the beach and other types of sandals other places. If its cooler i wear "sports" sandals so i can wear socks too. The thing between the toes of flip flops drives me nuts!

I totally agree with you there. I am a diehard Crocs wearer, and I can't wear the Crocs version of flipflops because the thing between the toes is too hard. My poor little toes are very sensitive. They don't like that hard plastic thing rubbing against their tender skin. After a while it feels like it's going to rub my skin right off!

There are actually some Crocs styles that are suitable for winter, ones that do not have holes in them. You might want to look at the official Crocs web site to have a look at them (just do an internet search for it). They even have boots for rain and snow! I am going to have to get a pair of Crocs boots soon because it rains and snows a lot here in the fall and winter. Not all Crocs have holes in them. Do look into it and let me know what you think. They are coming out with new styles all the time.

Thats how mine feel too! I love crocs they are soooo comfy. I don't wear them in winter time like other people do because i hate the snow coming in the holes.

I live in Florida!! So flipflops are worn EVERYWHERE every season. LOL. Even in the winter, I just throw on some toe socks and still rockin' the flipflops. HAHA

Do you ever kick an alligator when it is going after your bare toes, only to have your flipflop fly off in his face?

But, don't the alligators attack your toes if you wear flipflops in Florida? Just kidding! LOL! :O)

I for one can't wear them all summer long. However if it is nice out I do perfer to wear them than shoes. If I am driving my motorcycle. I don't suggest anyone doing this. However I have seen guys wearing flip flops all the time on their crouchrockets wearing them. This is a pretty stupid idea to say the least. But if I am driving my trucks then I do like to wear the flip flops. They are great air conditioners for your feet.

Wearing flipflops while driving a motorcycle? Luckily, I have not seen people doing that here. I don't recommend that either. But, wearing flipflops while driving trucks does not sound like a bad idea at all.

Maybe they call them flipflops because flipflops flip and flop? I wish I could see their foot getting stuck like that. That's hilarious! Yeah, better take care when you're wearing those things. LOL!

Oh I have seen people driving motorcycles (crouchrockets only) not harleys or full sized bikes as they have more respect for the road as well are true bikers than the little knock off crouchrocket riders. But I have seen too many and I laugh all the time when they get their foot caughtand the flip flop bends and flops. You just sit there and say serves your dumb @$$ for wearing them flip flops. Trucks and cars are easier to wear flip flops but one thing I have to watch is that the back doesn't flip over when I move my feet.

No! I wear tennis shoes. The last pair of flip flops I had my daughter took to just barrow and I never saw them again! I have sandals too that I have hardly worn.

Oh, I am sorry to hear that you have not gotten your flip flops back. Well, at least you still have tennis shoes to wear. I am just curious why you say you hardly wear your sandals. They must not be very comfortable or something. Just guessing here.

Yeah i love wearing flip flops i even wear them in the winter! They keep your feet really cool and stop them becoming swetty - I hate swetty feet. They are also very comfortable and easy to walk in and come in wonderful colours.

The winters where you are must not get all that cold. I know that here, anyway, it gets unbearably cold, wet, and windy in the winter. I couldn't stand to wear flipflops in that. I am glad that you are able to, though. And, I agree. Flipflops are very colorful things.

Yes. I am from Texas so it is always hot here during the summer. I love flipflops and I wear them everyday. I have several different colors so I can match them with whatever I am wearing.

Flipflops are nice in that they are relatively inexpensive and come in about a zillion different colors and styles. I like that about them.

I don;t wear flip flops everywhere in the summer. I do wear them a lot because they are comfortable and pretty much can go with anything. I have a few pair that are different colors and match a lot of what I have. I have some casual ones and actually I have one or two nicer ones I can easily wear to church if I want.

Yeah. I have seen some fancy ones that have fake jewels and stuff on them. I only have one pair of flipflops. Maybe I ought to get some nice, fancy ones sometime.

I only wear them occassionally because they are really bad for your feet. I just slip them on when I am in a hurry, but try to alternate differnet pairs of shoes. If you don't switch shoes, your feet start to smell.

Yes, it is very important to switch shoes. Stinky feet are not exactly pleasant to be around. I am glad that you only wear flipflops occasionally.

I do see flipflops everywhere here during the summer, and they do tend to be waterproof so I see how people can wear them even in the pouring rain.

Yes, I'm one of those people. If i don't have flipflops on then I am usually barefoot. I am not a "shoes person".

I can see what you mean. I often am barefoot when I am at home alone. I don't think that shoes are "natural" for feet.

I wear them all the time in the summer. I do not like shoes at all anyway, so if it is even remotely warm outside I will just slip on some flip flops when I am going out unless I am going to be doing a lot of walking since they are hard on your feet.

You are right in that although they feel good and are comfortable, they are hard on your feet. I am glad that you switch to other shoes if you are going to be doing a lot of walking. It might be best to alternate with other shoes now and then anyway.

i'm a flip flops diehard. i just hate wearing shoes, they make my feet hot and sweaty, yuk! so yeah i wear flip flops everywhere all the time. not only in summer but year round. where i live the winter is not that cold. so as long as it's still above freezing i can wear my flip flops. on rare occasion i'd be the only one out and about in flip flops in winter but most of the time there would be a few other brave 'sole mates'. occasionally people would ask me if my feet aren't cold. i'd always say 'no, they're fine.' i'd rather have them cold than hot and sweaty.

I hate wearing high heels because they hurt my feet. I totally understand about why you would choose to wear flip flops even if you must pay for that privilege. They are much more comfortable than high heels.

Flip flops and me just do not go together,If I wear them it seems as though my feet are always falling out of them, and that is not too safe,I would rather wear a shoe or a sandal in which my feet are secure, and ones that fit properly too,the flip flops allow yur feet to spread, and I do not think that they are very good for your feet either,

Yeah. One of the reasons why I do not, personally, wear flip flops all the time is that I take the bus system everywhere, and I can't very well run for the bus while wearing flip flops. They don't stay on my feet when I run, and I could end up tripping on them. Also, the idea of them allowing your feet to spread does not sound very healthy.

I have really poor balance, and vision, and I walk with a cane. If i try and wear flip-flops, I'll trip all over them, and land on my face!!
