Hi lynnchua, since the day we learn that to take leftover food is not good for our health we then always try not to prepare more food for every meal.
You know sometimes we still couldn’t prepare exactly what the amount we need and have excessive food left. We usually will keep them in the fridge and to cook the food again before we take it.
For the sake of health, very often we still prefer to turn it into compost which is the good organic manure for our plants.
posting and have a nice day.

Yeah after trying hard to control the amount of food we need daily, we could hardly find any leftover food in the fridge anymore nowadays. Now we could estimate the amount of stuffs we need roughly to prepare the daily meals or get food from outside.
Sometimes we still would have some leftover, but a little amount only. We usually would take it as supper the night, and won’t keep it overnight in the fridge for it is not good to our health. Or we would use it as compost manure anyway.
Thanks for the best response awarded. Take care and good luck.

Don't waste food especially if you asked blessings for it. I usually place it in the ref, make another meal out of it. If it is already spoiled, I just dumped it. Animals or insects can still make use of it.

I will dump it away but usually I don't cook so much, just enough for 4 person.

Hello,Lynnchua! In these days of food crisis perhaps non would prefer to throw away the left overs.everybody would definitely like to preserve those foods in the refrigerator for use in next morning or evening.I think those can better serve as an additional item during next time.we preserve for next time and heat those items before eating.thanx.

mm i think it's kind of waste if i dump it,so usually i keep it in a different dish and have it later.
but the best way is to get away from the left over food.i'm always telling my parents to cook less food if possible in case of waste.
i think it's also better for health.

My family has this habit of not liking to eat left overs, so what i do is preheat the food and take it to the office where i eat my lunch with my friends. We eat together so everyone has a different viand to share so it seems that i am not eating left overs at all. Some of them are homemakers too so we almost do the same thing. It is rather impractical nowadays to dump left over foods because of the rising cost of almost everything.

It totally depends on what I make. If I make chicken spaghetti, I freeze it for a later date. If its something like french fries or chili dogs, I throw it out. When I make brisket and its left over, I shred it up and cook it in an iron skillet with a little barbecue sauce for barbecue sandwhiches.

My first option is put it in therefrigirator and eat it the next day.next option is make a new dish out of it but if it is definietly not edible enough then i will go to my third option which isfeed it to my pet dog and they usually always eat it.and there you go hopethat you are satisfied with my answer.have a nice day.

It depends on the dish. If there is a good amount than I put it in the refrigerator and use it for another meal or make something else out of it. If it is only a small amount I generally dump it.

My hubby loves to eat left over food. I only like leftovers from restaurants - I guess I am picky that way!

Depending on what was made, I'll usually make a nice sandwich out of the leftovers, lol. And if what I'm eating doesn't really go with bread I'll just reheat it. There's a lot you can do with leftovers. I've seen people turn them into new original second dishes. There's no reason to just toss it out if you can make something out of the rest.

I try to save the left overs for next meal, or at least make it a part of next meal... If I happen to be on a long driving trip, I don't want to drive with a left over food that might go bad so in that case, I usually dump it, though I shouldn't...
