phelps,fresh from the Beijing olympics where he won a record eight gold medals said he's never competed in a backstroke event at a major international meet or in the 100-meter free style.

well... seeing that he has won 8 gold medals shows that he is one man of great determination and focus. so, if he wants to do it, why not? i think he will be able to do it...

someone say,people in the globle can be divided into two kinds,one is phelps,one is the other,we also can say he is not the human in the earth.i wonder whether he can become human four year later,maybe!
