Coming to work to me now is like just do my duty, to make sure i fulfill the attendance only. In my mind, i keep feeling that working here is wasting my time, is totally meaningless to me to work under this company anymore. Anyone can give me advice on this? Thanks.

Well I do not have a clue as to where you work, or what you do for a living. But I think that maybe it might be time for you to try to find another job, that you could find for fulfillment in.

Hi sunkissed, thanks for your response. I'm working for an investment bank and being employed under IT department. Actually the main reason i feel that is i noticed that i start to lost my patience to entertain the user. They always like to request something which is not justify and something can't cater by the system or even something which impossible. When i can't deliver it, they will start complain about the system and at the same time, they also blaming me, and they actually sounds like i'm the one who suggest company buy this system. In actual fact, the system already in place before i join the company. I don't know what to say anymore, the thing that make me sad is i have no more motivation and i'm getting slow and stupid after due with all these users.

I wonder where you're working. Sometimes I also feel boring or get annoying about my work. Why should I do this kind of thing I dislike? But that is life.

Therefore, i already start look out, hopefully i can get a better job :)

Hi denil181273, thanks for the response. I wish i can take a rest too. However, everytime i on leave, there is definitely a call from office, really spoil my mode :( I think even i got a chance to take a day off, my feeling still the same. This is because when i come back from leave and open my office email, there is a lot. Guess what, among all the emails, it could be only 20% of it is related to you and the rest, you just don't understand why they cc a copy to you. For the 20% which related to you, all with nonsense contents. Try to imagine how i feel, hehe :p

It's normal to feel this way after a period of time (how long have you been working for this company??), especially if you are a type of persons that loves a challenge and gets bored quickly when there's is no stimulation. I'd suggest you start looking elsewhere . . . make sure you get another job before you submit your resignation. Your place of work should be a place you love to go to and enjoy what you are doing, you spend most of your time working so it should be interesting and exciting . . . Good Luck!

Hi mamuzo, thanks for your response. I actually only worked for this company for 2 years plus, to me, i think is consider not long. Honestly, i like challenge and willing to try out the new thing. However, users around me, who only know how to complain non stop, really make me feel demotivated. HR policy also not standardize, i'm not mean the medical claim, but is office attire. They can wear casual on Friday but we can't, just because they are from front office (who need to meet client) but i'm from back office (who no need to meet client). Seriously, i'm already start looking out, the main reason is i don't want my current company keep demotivate me anymore.

What company do you work for, what work do you? Why do you feel as if it's just a duty? I can't give advice unless i know what the actual problem is, can you please explain more?

Hi snowberries, thanks for your response. I worked in an investment bank and employed under IT department, who need to support all the users from different department. User always will raise those requests that is not justify or cater by the system. When i revert to them that system can't cater for it, they will start to complain about the system. They actually complain in a way of like blaming me suggest the company to buy the system. But, actually is not me. And this complaint will not end at all, when there is a next issue raised by them, again, they will say the same thing. We tried our best to arrange training for them, but they don't want to apply the new skill after training. What they expert is just sit there and keep complain about the system. And, i actually find that i everyday doing the same thing, which is listen to their complaint and learn nothing here.
