Colored contacts, once desired is not for all people who want them.
You may have your eye screened for dryness. Colored contacts provide less oxygen to the eyes depriving them of the nutrients they need to perform well.
Besides, studies show that prolonged use of contact lenses (even clear ones)promotes itchyness irritation and worst, infection. I suggest that you use your glasses twice a week and your contact lenses 3 times a week in between for 8 hours only each use to minimize infection later on.

I have been wearing clear contacts every day for about 5 years now and I've never had any problems. But thanks for the warning. I don't have any glasses right now, but I was thinking of getting some and now I am even more sure I want to get them. That's strange I've never heard anything about this before. That's especially weird that the colored ones do that. Well thanks a lot. have a great day.

yes you can get colored prescription contact lenses. from your eye doctor, or the place you order your regular lenses thru. as long as you have the prescription (its on the side of the contact lens box) you can order them. just tell them you want to check out what colors they have..most places carry a wide assortment of eye colors.
