We all feel the changes in weather in the last few years on earth.Global Warming, strong rain in few seconds that leave people without houses. In another words the weather became crazy. Here in Israel we have blue sky all the year without two month in the winter that are cloudy and it is hot in the summer. But this last summer I must say is very very hot.How it is in your country?

Whether the weather be cold
or whether the weather be hot
we'll weather the weather
whatever the weather
whether we like it or not.
Same weather we've always had. We just hear more about it.

Well, here in the Philippines, we're a tropical country. We only got dry and wet season. Right now, it's still rainy here. I'm not very sure how the climate is in all the parts of our archipelago. At least, here in Metro Manila area and the places around it, we are currently experiencing drizzle or heavy rains throughout the week.

Its been pretty hot here too but not any more than normal. The only thing peculiar in this area is that we have had tornadoes long past tornado season. A couple of weeks ago we went out of town and returned to find a big tree down in Mom's yard. It wasn't a tornado but just strong winds. The rest of the country has had some really weird weather though. The last two summers we had droughts here but this summer we have had more rain.

Yeah, the weather nowadays is totally different from that in those earlier days. Not only the one in your country, Israel as well all the places in our planet.
In my country, during sunny season the weather is very much warmer than that before, whereas during rainy season there are awful storm here and there that bring tremendous great amount of water which cause floor to the area on both side of the rivers. These damage lots of houses and crops as well.
posting.

Hi as2006! I live in a tropical country and in this time of year, it is rainy season here in the Philippines. We do have lots of strong rains and can be destructive almost everytime. However, we do have hot days too in between the rainy days and when it gets hot, it is really indeed hot.
Take care always..God Bless!

In South Africa, (Cape Town actually since I have always lived here), we normally have quite cool summers and rainy winters. But I have found that recently winters have become colder and the rain has become crazier as you have said. Like this year, spring is supposed to be here by the mid of Sep but the rain is still pouring now, and do not see any sings of stopping. although it is a good news that we gonna have enough water reserve in the summers. But the summers are seem to be shorter now. Everybody says it is global warming but I am experiencing South Africa Colding?
I am always joking with my friends that maybe I am getting old...

It's nuts here in my country! We've had more floods, droughts, tornados and hurricanes than normal these past few years. Our winters have been milder than usual. The southern U.S. has had temperatures cooler than in the north this summer which is not normal.
I'm not going to worry about it because there really is nothing we can do about the weather but adapt as best we can.

Yes, here where I live in Oklahoma, the weather has been real weird. In August its usually really hot here, what we call the dog days of summer, we're usually in the triple digits right now, but most of this month we've been in the middle 80's now thats weird. I told my husband we'll probably have a cold winter this year, because our winters are mild here, we don't get alot of snow, but I bet it'll be cold this year.

Hi as2006........First of all I was happy to see that you are from Israel, as I am also now in Israel, though I am more Indian than Israeli.....lol. Yeah the weather is really killing us. Specially for those who have no air condition at night and have to survive only with fans.(including me)...Things that never happened in Israel are happening now.....not only weather, but I think everything is changing.I really don't see any future for our children.....what do you think.....every day some new tension adds more and more disappointment.......do you feel the same.

Yes, it is the result of our carelessness on this earth. It is raining also here in our place, sometimed there are typhoons, floods and all of a sudden it is hot. It is different from way back when we were younger.

Global warming can be subjectively analyzed by saying, "there was so much more snow in winter when I was a kid." However, objectively, we look at melting icecaps and glaciers to get a good frame of reference.

Yeah. The weather has been crazy everywhere. Now everyone is supposed to wear sunscreen every day. Just thinking of that gives me chills. Not good, not good. Here in the US there has been tons of fires and a bunch of hurricanes, tornados, floods, etc. I live in Utah though, where it is a lot more calm, so I have really only been personally affected by the fires. I haven't had any very close to my home though, but I have asthma and the air quality has been horrible. I can barely breathe at all. The world definitely is getting hotter. This summer has had record-breaking heat here as well. Triple digits almost every day. I can't stand it. I really hope that we can miraculously find some sort of solution to all of this, especially global warming. I read somewhere on the internet that the north pole could be completely melted by next summer. I can't even imagine that in all my wildest dreams-And I have some wild dreams!!! Scary, scary stuff man.

Well gosh, I've noticed it was REALLY hot here in Calgary early last week, but for the rest of this week, it's been...."cold" I say it in quotes though because the "cold" is only between 12-13 degrees, but since it was so hot before, it's just more noticable and makes me want to go bundle up in a parka haha.
Of course if it was February, and the same temp, 12-13 degrees, we'd be jumping in our shorts and commenting on how warm it's getting lol.
Plan a BBQ....
