How to get rid of acne for a short time?

Well, i'm suffering because of acnes on my forehead, i'm applying anti-acne creams for a very long time, but still nothing happens. Could anyone please tell me how to get rid of this acne. Tell me some treatments and how long could it take.

I used have many outbreaks due to hormone changes and i indulged and spent so much on acne creams. However, if it is due to hormone changes, is better to solve it at natural way. my beautician advised me to just drink alot alot of water, sleep more than 8 hours, eat less oily food and wash my face regularly with just water. Suprisingly, simple remedy like such makes a difference to my face within a week or two. Sorry I do not have an instant cure for you but you might able to share with me if you found?
