yes. we cant remove the fact that ebay may have scammers and fraudsters. that is why when you surf and look for possible items to purchase on the site, you need to be meticulous enough about the product and the seller. is the seller trusted, what do others think about them, is he/she a powerseller and some other stuff.
ebay offers a lot of choices. so if youre doubting on a product of perhaps the integrity of the seller, then go the next one.
i love ebay.
i got a bargain. no bad experiences yet, hopefully none.

I agree that you need to check out a sellers reputation before you buy but in light of the fact that sellers can gain false positive feedback through actually paying people to give them positive feedback can you really be sure that seller is genuine? Ebay are trying to stamp out fraudsters but with the ebay community being so vast it's going to be an impossible to task to wipe it out completely

I haven't used it in a very long time but I did use to buy things from there in the past. There are definitely fraudsters and scammers operating through this site as there are with most sites! But at least ebay have some solid measures in place to try to keep this to a minimum. The seller ratings system for example at least allowed us to see how others have fared before parting with our hard earned money!
