Remove fishy or garlic smells from a wooden chopping board by rubbing the board with a wedge of lemon.Put citrus peel down the garbage disposer to clear smells.Another tip,Place a bowl of vinegar next to the stove to absorb strong odors. Have you already knew?

I have heard that you can use lemon to remove odors. I have not heard of the vinegar in a bowl to absorb stron odors.. Vinegar is a strong odor ..LOL I know that the smell does go away very fast. But, we do not have a wooden cutting board anymore. They hold too many food particles, and we do not feel that it is healthy!
