I am very proud of my homeland, the Philippines. Inspite of bad publicities it generated because of the threat of terrorism, still I could say that it is one of the best in terms of hospitality, of friendly and gentle people. Not only that, it offers a lot of wonderful, exotic and beautiful places that attract tourists and people from all over the world.. The beaches of Boracay, of Batangas and Cebu could attest to these 1,107 islands that sprawled in the pacific. Come and explore my homeland, the Philippines and you will have the grandest tour of your life...

Yes, i agree. Phillipines is a great country to visit, i am now studying here in baguio in the phillipines and its nice.
Baguio is the summer capital of Phillipines, its cold here, but right its now, the weather is just find not hot not cold. The lies on top of a mountains, dome are high and some normal.
Facts about Baguio:
Baguio City is a 1st class highly urbanized city in northern Luzon in the Philippines. Baguio City was established by the Americans in 1900 and created by the Philippine Assembly as the Summer Capital of the Philippines on June 1, 1903. There is a presidential mansion, and supreme court and legislative offices in Baguio. Additionally, Baguio is the seat of government of the Cordillera Administrative Region. The name of the city is derived from the word bagiw in Ibaloi, the indigenous language of the Benguet Region, meaning 'moss'. The city is at an altitude of approximately 1500 meters (5100 feet) in a moist tropical pine forest environment that is conducive to the growth of many mossy plants and orchids.
According to the 2000 census, it has a population of 252,386 in 52,302 households.

It's nice discovering Philippines. Yap, Baguio City is the summer capital of the Philippines. Before it's of one the top tourist destinations of our country but with the discoveries of other beauty spots and with the invasion of commercialization, Baguio City is having a problem with the number of tourists unlike in the past. However, it is still one of the pillars of tourism industry. The Philippines Military Academy, one of the best in Asia, the Burnham Park etc. These never fails to attract local and foreign tourists alike. Mabuhay....

I'm sure it's lovely. But, I love the USA, and still want to see all of my country before I go somewhere else.
