Dragon fruit

Yup, they are sold here, in our markets and hypermarkets. I have tried once, but I don't like the small black seeds inside - it's a bit troublesome, having to spit out the seeds!

I have never had it fresh, but I have had it dried before. I am sure the drying process changes the flavor some just like it changes the texture. I like the dried stuff, but I wish the seeds would not stick in my teeth so much.

Yes I had dragon fruit so many time, though I did not like it that much. I personally prefer fruit like water melon, strawberry or rambutan. In fact, those fruits are my favourite! lovely and juicy.....

I tried it once in Singapore. It was fine at first, but i didn't get to finish it because the taste was bland. I guess it is good only when tasting it.

Yes I have! I have eaten these in Asia and you can also buy them in Australia at certain times of the year. They are a strange looking fruit but quite tasty with not a strong flavour at all. I didn't realize this before; but am not surprised that they are fruits fron cacti when you consider how they look!

Hi, djoyce71. I have drunk a drink by Vitamin Water that has the flavor of dragon fruit in it. I have never just actually ate a piece of dragon fruit all by itself though. I would like to taste this fruit, because the dragon fruit flavor tastes very delicious in the Vitamin Water that I love to drink.

This fruit is available in Europe and I had a chance to taste it while I was to Paris on vacations with my wife. We liked it much. It is green outside and is very tasty. Have u seen if so comment.

Ya, in Malaysia, there are a lot too, red skin and white inside, small black seed, if you eat whole, you will full. Dragon fruit got two type, white inside and red inside. I like dragon fruit, as specially the red one.

Where would you get dragon fruit? I live in PA and have never seen it. I have tried it as flavored drinks come and really like the taste of it, but have never seen it in stores in my area. Any suggestions? I would really like to try it if it is as good as it tastes in flavored drinks.

Yes ive had dragon fruit i found a dragon fruit plant with a perfectly ripe fruit so i picked it and ate it and kept some seeds it was a deep purple on the inside filled with the deliciously small black seeds its perfectly sour and yes it grows on a cactus a weird cactus actually its like a cactus vine and it only produces fruit if its flower witch is only open for a few hours late at night is cross polinated so im saving the seeds i have until i can get the seeds of a different strain :)

I tried one a while ago and hated it! I thought it was disgusting. It tasted like a watery and slightly sharp kiwi fruit to me. Not nice at all.
