How do you actually pray?

i usually pray wherever. i rarely go to church but when i do i usually go coz i wanna thank him. i always say my prayers when im in the bedroom.

I have a faith on God for all accurences of the day to day in our all the activities... I will pray God once i gets up from the Bed, pray them that the day should go in good manner, and with out any problem. After took the bath, i will pray God at Pooja Room, for some time, as regular prayer.. by prounce some of the Slogam.. When ever i took Some food, i will pray god, saying thanks for the Food. And also, I pray god, before going to bed/sleep, saying thanks to God, that, today has moved good, thanks for the same. And also when ever i found time, i will go to temple, and pray God.. I storngly belief that, with god's blessings, none of our activities should took place in our day to day activities.. Have a good day.

I usually pray in the night when i am ready to turn in for the day. I am not very regular at that also but i try to as much as i can. I am a Jain by religion and usually fold my hands and say our prayer 12 times before I sleep. I also, once in a while, go to my temple to pray.

Well I don't pray anymore and haven't done for years and years but when i used to pray I would kneel on the floor, elbows on the bed, hands in pray and eyes closed, like the sunday school books showed

Hello MainexD! Welcome to mylot! In my opinion, faith is a personal relationship with God, and the sole way to communicate with Him is through prayer. I pray solemnly at times, but I talk to HIM casually most of the time. I feel HIS presence in my life, like a father, brother and as a friend, these thoughts makes me comfortable and makes me talk to HIM the way I talk with the people around me.^^
