There are a lot of digital camera available in the market...i wanna purchase one but my hesitation is that because the good ones are a bit pricey, i wanna buy one that is user friendly, takes good pictures, durable and is worth the money...and value won't depreciate fast...any suggestions please...

i have a sony digicam. i think it is more user friendly than canon. canon comes at prices less than about a thousand. but you have to be a bit of expert to handle those. bit intricate functions.. bye and take care.

Well, I would recommend Sony ones.
I don't know for what it will be, then it's better asking first: what's going to be the use of the camera? Professional, Casual, Hobby..?
For now, I'm happy with my Sony. =)

Sony is good, but i prefer the brand that have specialty in camera like Olympus, Fuji, and Nikkon. Beside, Sony is using third-party lens, the Carl-Zeiss, which make their camera more expensive.
