Do rabbits really die when they are left alone ?

I have this pet rabbit.We named her BEAUTY.At first there were two of them but the male bunny named BEAST died suddenly so I opt to let my girl bunny sleep in the bed with me...she likes being held by anyone whom she feels cares for her...then one day the family have to take an emergency trip out of town...and our bunny was left with the maids(ones she was not familiar with)...in the morning they found her dead in the bedroom for no reason...its like she held her breath and died...funny but true...how we missed that sweet bunny...

That is weird I have never heard of that. My grandfather used to have bunnies and they raised them and sold them. They stayed in a pin outside all the time, but we never found ours just killed over in the morning.
