Some days ago I was laying on the grass, relaxing a little bit, when I found a four-leaf clover, and I felt like "Lucky!"..
Then, today, there was a ladder in the street and, instead of passing under it, I went round it.
And then, now, I figured out I'm a little superstitious.. xD
And what about you? Arer you superstitious? What are your superstitions?

That is cool that you found a four leaf clover my friend and they are supposed to be very good luck,I do not think I have ever found one even though I have never really looked,I have heard all the old superstitions and I do not really believe in them as I think it is kind of silly to think that opening a umbrella indoors or walking under a ladder will bring you bad luck, and just the other day I was walking through my parents house with an open umbrella, and nothing bad has happened to me yet.

Yeah, no problem with that. ^^
There are people that believe in it, and there are those who don't.. Completely normal. ^^

kudos on the clover! i am superstitious about somethings but not others. I deliberately walked under a ladder the other day in defiance, but we were talking today about someone still being alive and i knocked on wood cos i wouldnt want to think i had killed them. Did you know that walking under a gargoyle on the outside of a church is supposed to be lucky?

Actually, I didn't know the gargoyle thing! In fact, I never saw a church with a gargoyle in here.. But in the future, if I travel to Europe or so, I'll remember it. ^^
And about knocking on the wood, that's a different kind of superstition, but it's still one! Another from the same kind is crossing fingers. ^^

You are lucky to find one of those four leaf clovers, I remember at school we would spend break times looking for them. I never found one! I always avoid walking under a ladder, but last week there was a ladder that was taking up the whole of the pavement. I could not walk in the road as there were a lot of cars about and I had my two year old daughter with me so I decided I had no other option than to dive under it quickly. I had just walked under it with my daughter when there was this big smash behind us, I looked around and where they had been up the ladder taking some glass out of the window they had dropped it! How lucky was we? That was enough to remind me why I never walk under a ladder.

I remember, in my childhood, while I was waiting for the school bus, of me, my mom and my brother looking for those four-leaf clovers.. And never finding any of them! Just now, older, it's when I find'em.. I believe I'd be even happier about finding it if I had did that when I was a child.
And what a story about the "ladder superstition"! That's enough for me for staying away from those dangerous and suspicious ladders. ;D
