When you receive a card...What do you do?

When you receive a card as a present with money in it...what do you do? You obviously love it and take the money. But do you read the card also or do you just take the money? Do you save the card or just throw the card out right after you receive the money?

I take the money or cheque and count how much it is adding it to any others, then i read who the card is from and put it on my windowsill. I take my cards down a week after my birthday, i keep the cards off my bro and mum in a memory box
