Do you think they should throw a 9 yr old off the team because he can pitch?

A 9 yr old boy is being hurt by other managers because he can pitch almost 40 mph. Does this mean he can't play? Should he be allow to play in a higher age group? Why must grownups hurt this child and boot him off the team because his team is 8-0?

I don't think that is fair at all to the child. He is gifted and should be able to play. I think he should be able to play for another team also if he is that good. He may qualify to play with the older leagues.

i read about this as well. at first i didn't believe it but anything can happen right? i dont think they handled it the best way possible, maybe they could've taught him how to control how he throws. i mean the kid is only nine!!!i dont think moving him up in age group would've worked for him b/c he may not be able to run fast enought for the older kids and it could urt the team. totally wrong. i would be so steamed and yet proud at the same time if h was my kid!
