What happened to Americas Player?

Dan was Americas player for a couple times and now they dont talk about it anymore? I dont get it. Was it that there were people on to him or something? Did they ever talk about why they werent continuing it? I kept waiting to see more and didn't?

When they announced it on tv it was only for one week. For the one week that he was Americas player he had 3 tasks I believe and he accomplished all of them.
He had to get someone nominated that America wanted - Jesse
He had to give someone a hug for 60 seconds - Jesse
And he had to vote for who America wanted evicted - Jesse
I think they did it for only one week to get everyone think that he may be Americas player (which they did) and then they stopped it.

Yep,it was only for one week. I think it was foolish of them to have an americas player again so close to the one last season. Like the houseguests wouldn't go in wondering who Americas player would end up being. I am glad it was just for one week....now he can do what he wants.

i was wondering that too.. i thought they meant every week would be a new person but this is the first season of bb that i have watched so its easy for me to be clueless lol
