Anyone have eBook readers? What do you think of them? I personally have an Amazon Kindle, and even though I am not a big fan of DRM, I really like the convienience of being able to purchase and download a book, even if I am not near a computer, like if I go visit an out of town friend that lives in the middle of nowhere, and he doesn't even have Internet access, I can still buy a book, and use the browser for some simple things, since I don't have Internet turned on on my phone (the screen is too small).

i'm in the market for one myself. I have researched and so far Kindle seemed to be a good choice. However, I'm still holding off. Maybe you can share how you find using Kindle.
I love to read, and though I will always prefer a book over an electronic reader, there are just some new authors I want to try who are still not published and whose work are available only on e-book format. Furthermore, the idea of being able to cart a number of book on a relatively small device without crowding one's bookcases is also attractive. Plus some books I read can have pretty cheesy covers, so reading them on a reader can spare me the embarassment..LOL..
Happy reading!!

I read ebooks as well but unlike you, I download them for free. There are some good but older titles available in the torrent sites. I like reading those books purely because it's free. It's amazing how many things are free on the internet. You'd think that nothing's free anymore, but there are still some good souls out there left. :) The only downside to ebooks is that sometimes the book is cut short near the end. I don't know why but it has happened to me a few times already... :(

Good day.. I have ebooks and of course ebooks readers. One thing I like about it is it's convenient, I could carry several books in my laptop or in my pda. I could read it even in the darkness of a bus during night travel and all the convenience of a pda. I just love using it.
