My cycle runs regular from 30 to 34 days. According to my charting BBT, I do ovulate around 25 days of my cycle and my lutheal phase is only 9 days which I think it is too short. It could be that is the reason I can not get pregnant. This is my second month of monitoring my body. Hopefully I can really pinpoint this time my ovulation day. Today is my CD10. I tested negative with OPK. Some women can be fertile at this time but me even little there is no evidence as of yet this early. I will try again in the next couple days, but like i said ovulation will not takes place until 20 days or so my cycle. But I will keep testing so that I will not miss the peak of my fertile days. Any ladies would like to share your experiece about your cycle and BBT charting or TTC? I would be glad to know and appreciate all your input. Thanks!

Yeah, a 9 day luteal phase would definitely be considered a luteal phase defect. Too short. Since you just began charting, stay with it for a few cycles. You might see a better pattern in it and find that it is a bit longer than that. "Normal" is between 12 and 16 days. (Some say 10 but my Dr's both agree that lower than 12 is a problem.) If you'd like, you can take a look at my charts: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/198a83
Some of the more recent ones I didn't temp, didn't do anything. Taking a breather from all that. But the older ones will give you an idea of what an ovulatory chart should look like in general.
Good luck!

Lavender,
I have a question for you. I hope you dont mind. You have been trying for almost a year now, when u dont fall pregnant how do you cope with it? I am so emotional, If I find not Pregnant. I cried like a baby and so stress over this TTC. I just bought some herbs to help my emotion and stress over. I hope the herbs will work, for I dont want to blame my hubby for not getting pregnant. I just dont know what to do. Sometimes I just want to give up.

We've been trying for about a year and a half now. I still dread AF coming every month. There's been one miscarriage in the mix somewhere there, too. It never is easy, not being able to conceive when that's what you want the most. My best advice is to find something else to obsess over. Because that's what I did for awhile....obsess. And it broke my heart every time. I've come to realize, though, that if it doesn't happen, that's ok too. I have a full life and a full heart with my husband and my two kids.
Do you have any children already? How long have you been trying? And you know that you could probably get your Dr. to help you out after 6 months right?
Sending you tons of babydust.
