Amazing Race Asia Season 3, why so many celebrities?

Why not just rename it to amazing race asia celebrities special or something like that. Why mostly actresses, actors and models. Are they trying to gain more viewership by putting well known people as participants? But one thing, I will still be watching because I love Amazing Race.

Yes I agree the contestants should have been ordinary people. Amazing race asia is a far cry from the original amazing race
