There is no doubt in my mind that my biggest fear in life... is something happening to my kids. I just don't think I could bear the thought of something horrible happening to them... they mean way too much to me and I would be a basket case without them... I don't even like thinking about it!!!!

Oh, something bad happening to my child, above all else! Doesn't every mother have that fear! That is an emotionally wrenching type of fear (or can be if you think about it too often).
But then I am also afraid of heights, which is a totally different kind of fear.

I think when I was younger, with small children, my biggest fear was someone hurting them or something happening to them. I often wondered if other mothers felt the same kind of anxiety about it as I did.
Now that I'm older, my biggest fear is not completing what I came here, in this lifetime, to do. None of us ever really knows exactly or completely why we are here. I just know that I want to do and learn all that I'm supposed to. It's the only way not to have to repeat it in another life.

Mine would be to lose my best friends. I can't imagine a life without friends. You'd be so lonely. My parents on the other hand is a different story.

I fear of being alone in a dark place i am not familiar with. I've got insecurities and I think those make me fearful to be alone in a dark place.
