I think, Japannese are patriot of their country, and they believe that it is one of the powerful country in the world. Just like before, many of us really like their manga, animation, cartoon series and more. That's how they show their culture, because most of their concepts are about their culture.

Japanese government is truly awesome, they have government fund that are allotted to preserve their culture that includes shrines, castle, heritage parks.
they make a constant program that ensures that their culture would not die hundred of years from now.
perhaps the shogunate era had already disappeared, there are no more samurai's and hitoriki's that roam the street. but in Miagi, the shogunate culture lives on.
manga and animation as well keeps on evolving, with the coming of technology, 3d animation seems to be so popular like Final Fantasy: Advent Children.

Hi! I admire the Japanese people for being able to preserve their culture. I think the main thing that keeps them tied with their roots is their language. Most Japanese people cannot speak English, so they cannot easily relate to other cultures. Also, their very rich culture has so much to offer for themselves. I think they are enjoying and loving it.
