I had a very difficult time watching this movie when it first came out. But I eventually did watch and I love it. It's one of my favorite movies of all times. When he yelled 'freedom' at the end I, too, teared up.
It's a powerful statement of the human condition. We all want this. Politically, it will never happen. MY HEART CRIES for freedom as well.

I watched the movie several times (more than 3 times)...and I can't help it but cry in this exact part of the film.
One man who stands up for what he believes in, are those that change the world.
I have every respect for people with such traits...and I'd like to believe that maybe, I am one of them.
Great movie.
