Have you done this, mom?

Nature calls, you can no longer control yourself. Your two small kids are crying at the same time. So you take them with you inside the toilet. You place one in the clean, dry, tub to play while you sit the small one on your lap while relieving yourself.
Then you have to wash, so you clip the small one between your legs because he might slip on the bathroom tiles and hurt himself. You wash, balance, then it's time to pull up your under clothing...with one hand because your other arm is carrying the baby.
Is this ok? Would you do this, if ever? Have you?

Have not done that yet and probably will notBut if this one happens...maybe i will let the other one cry outside the bath room.Put the small one in a walker.Do my "thing" with hands on the walker stand then shift a foot to wash or pull up my undie. It's a good thing none of my kids gave me that kind of problem...or funny experience

Thanks for the reply misty, but my one year old already knows how to get out of his walker. He "climbs" down, hands and head first to the floor and most of the time would hurt himself. SO it's no longer safe for him. But then well, i figured out it's just a matter of time. Then someday i could say to someone who's going through the same thing, "been there, done that." :)

Been there, done that! But not exactly the same way. I only have 1 child, so when she was younger, I did put her on my lap to relieve myself. Had to juggle when I need to clean myself and hoist my pants up. Now that she's a bit older, I let her play in the bedroom where I can see her and I open the toilet door wide, so that she could still see me and I could still see her. I don't think there is anything wrong with this.

I have been there I have 3 that are close in age and I have put them in the tub and the baby on a towel on the floor. A mom has to do what she fill is right I can not leave the baby with the three year old or the three year old alone for a second she gets into every thing so I do what i have too and so must you. so do not listen to anyone who tells you that you are wrong because whats right for them may not be right for you so do what you fill is the right thing to keep your kids safe...

Thanks. Their safety is priority for me, that's why i had to take both of them with me inside the bathroom. You see, if i leave my two year old outside, i'm afraid he might climb on top of the TV. He always does that when no one is watching him. One time, the TV fell above him. It's a good thing he did not get hurt nor did the TV exploded. And sometimes, the call of nature doesn't mean only "pee"...and it could take much longer than peeing, you know. :)
