My son being bullied by 13 students !!!

My son is staying in a hostel in one of the top boarding school in my country. He called me early morning. " Mama, please come and take me . I am being bullied by my hostel mates. Please come as soon as possible. They punch and beat me. They are 13 of them and I am only alone". My body is shaking once I heard that. Without delay I rush out from my bed, clean myself and off I am heading to see him. Its about 280 km from my house. On my way I cried and wonder why they do it to my son. The students in that school are selected students and they are intelligent. How come intelligent good students can do such a thing. When I reach my sons's school I straight when to his room. Poor thing he is really in a trauma. He is shivering with a blanket alone in the room. I hugged him and we straight go to the nearest hospital. Thank God he is not that injured. But he is in trauma as his colleagues "kidnap and mental tortured him from 11.00 pm to 3.00 am, Four hours they tortured him mentally, slapping and punching him just because he talk to one of the bullies girdfriend. I cant tolerate this kind of incident and lodged a police report. The principal/teachers apologised to me for what had happened and persuade me to withdraw the police report. Should I drop the case???? For me the teachers and school warderns are not doing their job at all.
