Do you pray before eating???

I always pray before I eat. My family taught me this. Even now, we do it always every time we are about to partake the food. I guess it is a good practice to pray before eating.It is gracing the food. And thanking God for all of the blessings.

In one word no. I have been to peoples houses where they do pray and I have repected there views and have lowered my head down but not prayed. Even when I went to church I never parayed beofe a meal. But if you do.. good for you and I repect you for doing so.

Yes, i do pray before i eat to thank God for the blessings He gave and to ask Him to cleanse the food that i am going to partake. Well its a good habit to pray before taking your food.

When I was young I did but now I always forget especially when the meals are really tempting . My husband reminds me to pray all the time .

I pray to god before and after i have eaten my food as we all should do. Even though we sin he still puts food on our table. There are some people that don't even recognise him yet still by his mercy he provides them with their daily provision. I urge you all to remember god everyday.

I pray before i take ma food.Am following this for the past one year i guess.Atleast i will think about GOD for one minute.Sometimes i Thank him for giving me that food....This i do when am too emotional.Coz there are lots of people who do not get enough food...So,itz always better to pray before taking food if u have belief in GOD.

hey there vidhya. i don't pray god every time i eat. it's just that in the morning i pray to god and i eat my breakfast. i don't do it every time though. i have never thought about it. in school we used to do that. but as we went to higher classes we never did that and now totally left that. it is a good habit but i tend to forget when i look at the yummy food in front of me. ha ha... happy mylotting. have a nice day!

If i'm in my friends place they will pray before eating.Other times,I will pray before going to sleep not before eating.

i donot pray god before eating. i would pray to god directly after coming from bathing. this is my routine. after that i will get dressed. Even if i go outside i will pray atleast to sun if no photos of god are not available in the room. This makes me to have a faith that god will help me if i get into a trouble...
