nokia 6120, china phone?

my friends usually have nokia and motorola brands as their cellphones that gave an interest in having the same brand, so i bought nokia 6120. The following day i showed them my brand new cellphone but their reaction was not that good, they laughed at it and it offended me. They said " haha! that is just china phone! It is good for only one day! haha! it is disposable! ". It makes me curious now, " what's wrong with china phones? ". What are your advices on this matter? p0tchie24
